The Standard of Justice

The former PM has apparently tried to 'influence' the course of justice, according to the CJ. An elected PM has not got the right to ask for an opinion on what he thinks would be a better approach? Instead of giving advice by the servants of People to the head of peoples' representatives by interpreting the constitution, the the independence of judiciary resulted into issuing a contempt notice.

The judiciary should be an independent arm of the elected PM and help him in providing justice to the ones elected him to the highest post in Pakistan, the way he thinks best. The judiciary cannot decide the course of justice. They work in the structure laid down by the elected representatives.

Needless to say that the son of the same CJ on his personal request got his wish fulfilled; establishment of a commission. The independence of judicary did not result into court contempt when the son of CJ requested for a commission.

For how long and through how many ways we will continue insulting, character assassinating, disqualifying, murdering and hanging the true representatives of People?

The independence of the judiciary needs social review by the people of Pakistan otherwise it is fast becoming uncontrollable juggernaut of dictatorial practices that will ultimately result into choas. This  time there will not be any 'chain' to shed her blood to keep Pakistan intact. Better late than never.
